Jeff Kovel – Skylab Architecture
Jeff Kovel came to Portland in 1996 and by 1999 had founded his own firm Skylab Architecture. Kovel is responsible for some of my favorite places like the Doug Fir Lounge (which he is a part owner of), and Departure, but he is also known nationally for form designs such as the Hoke House which was featured in Twilight.
Skylab has teamed up with Method Homes from Washington to bring us a unique pre-fab design called Homb:
