A. Quincy Jones
A. Quincy Jones is known from his design work for Eichler in California. However, Jones also worked with a couple of builders in the Portland area also. In 1956, the famous architect along with his business partner Frederick Emmons began designing a post-and-beam tract home for Hallberg Homes, a Portland builder. The planned development is located East of Portland off of 151st & Hoyt (off of Glisan) was originally planned to include 48 homes but sadly only 4 of them were built. Jones also had a design relationship with local builder Robert Rummer.
Update: apparently the Hallberg homes btwn 151st & 152nd & Hoyt are not called Midtown Estates (thanks Austin!) more on those later
